Just north of Tuscon, Catalina Foothills rests at the southern foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains, affording residents some of the most spectacular views in all of Tuscon. When you're in the mood for Italian fare, check out Vivace Restaurant, which serves up favorite dishes in an elegant environment and features an extensive wine list. Known for its romantic ambiance, The Grill at Hacienda del Sol serves New American fare with scenic views. 
 
La Encantada is the largest upscale shopping center in the Tuscon metropolitan area, featuring a full variety of designer and boutique stores. You'll find everything from Tiffany and Co., Pottery BarnCrate and Barrel, and Lululemon. For your everyday cooking needs, AJ's Fine Foods is a gourmet grocery store with market-fresh produce, butcher and seafood counters, and more. The weekly Farmer's Market at St. Philip's Plaza is the region's premier market, with over 60 vendors. This is a great opportunity to support local farmers and small businesses. Animal lovers will delight at PAWSH adoption centers, Tuscon's nonprofit pet supply stores, where all proceeds go back to the Humane Society. Things to Do

It is not hard to find something to do around every corner in the Catalina Foothills. If you enjoy outdoor recreation and sports, you're in luck. Sabino Canyon Recreation Area is a national forest area with hiking trails and tram rides, and Pima Canyon offers even more spectacular views along its trails. Finger Rock Trail Head is another popular hiking entry point with incredible city and mountain views through Finger Rock Canyon. If you're looking for a spot that offers year-round activities, Mt. Lemmon is beloved for biking and hiking in the summer and alpine sports in the winter. 
 
The DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun is an art museum on 10 acres of land that displays impressive paintings by the Southwestern artist Ted DeGrazia. Festivals year-round add another exciting way to explore the region's arts, music, and seasonal events. La Paloma Country ClubVentana Canyon Golf and Racquet Club, and Skyline Country Club are all excellent country clubs with beautiful golf courses and other upscale amenities like fitness centers and spas. The Canyon Ranch Spa is another place to treat yourself to rejuvenation and relaxation.
